This summer, Little Blank Canvas & Mindful Art Practices are bringing back the benefits of Creative Expression and Mental Health for teens. The Artsy Minds is a creative and therapeutic art workshop designed to promote teen wellbeing through self-expression and mindfulness. Over the course of a week, from 10 AM to 1 PM, participants will explore various art techniques and practices rooted in art therapy to foster emotional awareness, reduce stress, and and build confidence. Through activities like painting, neurographics, journaling, and creative group exercises, teens will learn to express themselves in a supportive and fun environment while connecting with others. No prior art experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore creativity and grow! Each day will provide a mix of hands-on activities, meditative techniques in art making for regulation, while learning valuable life and art skills. A light, welcoming and fun workshop for teenagers to release stress, make sense of their own life, and use creativity as a force for life and expansion. Note: Group sessions for teenagers are a wonderful and powerful setting for growth, empathy, connection and exchange - noticing we are not alone in our paths, and how we learn from one another when we feel connected in a healing community. This workshop is recommended if you are looking for ways to support your teenager in using creativity as a creative outlet to foster self-acceptance, resilience, integrating mind-body-brain, facilitating well-being through art making. Ages: 13 yr. -17 yr.+ Disclaimer: As an Art Therapy Practitioner & Trauma-Informed Coach, I operate as a specialist, mentor/coach in a non-medical/non-diagnostic capacity and do not hold a license as a psychotherapist or Counselor.
