Arts & Crafts

Little Blank Canvas & Mindful Art Practices are fusing the benefits of Creative Expression and Mental Health to bring an In-Person Artsy Workshop for Teens. The Artful Minds Workshop emphasizes the therapeutic aspect of the art-making and creative expression in a group setting, "making mistakes", fostering a connection with our innate creativity and promoting relaxation, nervous system regulation and acceptance.

Ages: 13 yr. -17 yr.+

Awarded Studio

Nominated TOP 3 since 2015 for best Camps in the area on TMoM Choice awards.

This is not your ordinary type of art camp. Each project is planned to be original, educational, super duper fun and interactive.

Originality

We strive to provide the most creative and fun camp experience. Campers make new friends, connect with old ones and have a blast exploring different materials and techniques. Each day a new type of lesson exploring watercolor, acrylics, sculpting, charcoal, oil pastel, soft pastel, drawing, shading and more!

No repeating projects

We make every effort to avoid repeating projects, so campers can attend camp every week and return every year for an unique experience. Even when popular themes are coming back every year, projects will be different from previous years and camps.

We provide all materials

Just bring your kids to camp and provide daily snacks and lunch when coming to full day camps (nut-free please). All art materials are provided by the Studio.

Payments & Deposits

A $50 non-refundable deposit (for any in-person camp) is required at registration with a final balance due by the 1st day of camp.

All discounts and coupons to be applied to final balances.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel and have already paid tuition in full, your payment will be refunded less a $50 deposit (for 5-day camps) or 40% of amount paid at registration if one week prior to camp WHEN WE ARE NOTIFIED IN WRITING AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF CAMP. If camper fails to attend camp without any notice in writing, camp fee will be forfeited in full.

Changing Camp Dates

If you like to change camp weeks after payment/deposit is received by the Studio, please submit a Change Request via email at least one week prior to the start of original camp week. We will be happy to accommodate your request, space permitting. All non-refundable deposits can be used as credit during the summer to any other camp week when available.

Special Requests

We are not therapists or doctors but we are happy to accommodate any special request whenever possible. Please note that our staff is not authorized to administer medication during camp. Please notify us if your kid has any medical, behavior or developmental issues so we can discuss options if they have challenges working in groups.

Disrespectful, and/or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated from any camper. Camper will be excused from activities and parents contacted immediately after any incidents.
